Under the leadership and guidance of Pastors Daniel Adamcik of the
Lutheran Church in America (LCA) and E. Hjortland of the American
Lutheran Church (ALC), services were held in the RH Johnson Recreation
Center Lecture Hall. |

Pastor Charles Ruby came as Mission Developer for the Division for
Mission in North America of the LCA. |

November 1981 |
Lord of Life was organized
with 160 charter members. |

December 1981 |
Lord
of Life became a self-supporting congregation and called Pastor Ruby as
its first pastor. Services were held in the RH Johnson Recreation Center
Social Hall. |

Spring 1985 |
Approximately five acres of land were purchased from the Del E. Webb
Corporation |

First worship services were held in the new church building |
